How to delete search history on facebook messenger

You can edit or clear your search history in Messenger. Keep in mind that changes will only apply to the device you're using.

To clear all of your recent searches at once:

To clear one person from your search history:

From Chats, tap the search bar at the top.
Under Recent Searches, tap X next to a person's name to clear them from your search history.
